You skin is the largest organ in your body. Besides helping the body in the process of toxic elimination (One of the main acne contributing factors), it also protects your body against temperature changes, and from harmful invaders.
By working with your skin and not against it you pave the way to an enhanced healing of the skin. Your skin will look and feel better; it will become more even toned and vibrant.
On the other hand, by constantly doing the following, you are weakening the natural protecting capabilities of your skin, you are slowing the healing process of your skin, and are making your skin look bad and making your acne worse:
1.Smoking
Besides lung cancer, heart disease and early aging of your skin (e.g. wrinkles), smoking causes the contraction of the small capillaries and blood vessels of the skin, thus depriving your skin from the essential oxygen I needs for the creation and maintenance of healthy cells.
2. Using Topical Steroids
Over the counter or prescription cortisone based creams, especially the potent types, can eventually thin your skin and worsen your acne condition in the long run in addition to the irritation, redness and other side effects steroid creams can cause. Moreover, topicals by definition address the symptoms of acne (inflammation, itching, puss), they do not treat the root cause of the disease. Nevertheless, taking care of your skin externally is highly recommended but should be performed gently using pure natural ingredients such as diluted tea tree oil.
3. Taking Antibiotics
Antibiotic treatments like tetracycline aggravate your acne in the long run and also severely damage your internal system in the process. Antibiotics destroy all the bacteria in your system including the good, probiotic bacteria like acidophilus that have many essential qualities that promote clear skin. One of these qualities is the ability to protect your digestive tract from parasites and fungus (that constantly stress and damage your liver, one of the most important organs responsible for the healing process of your skin).
4. Shaving with Four-In-One Razor blades
Never use these four-in-one razor blades when shaving especially if you have large bumps and painful cysts. The reason is that blades that guarantee the “closest shave” will cause severe irritation and will damage your skin. Always use a single blade when having “live” acne.
5. Picking Your Skin (popping and squeezing included)
Never, never and ever touch, pick or squeeze your blemishes, regardless of how temping and “safe” it may seem. By doing this unprofessionally, you make your acne worse by aggravating your existing inflammation and pushing the puss deeper and wider into the skin. There are in fact very effective and safe ways of dealing with small whiteheads or blackheads but I would strongly recommend leaving that to the professionals if you care for your skin and wish to prevent further scarring.
6. Taking excessive amounts of Vitamin A
Vitamin A from natural sources (green leafy vegetables and beta carotene fruit and veggies) and in small quantities can significantly enhance the healing process of your skin but when taken excessively it can seriously damage your liver and cause severe health problems and side effects.
7.Use over the counters for your Rosacea
That one is a no-brainer. Taking over the counters that by definition make your skin red and irritating is definitely not something you want to do when surfeiting from rosacea. If you suffer from rosacea, always consult your dermatologist prior to applying over the counters on your already inflamed and highly sensitive skin.

Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Asia Glatt Shampoo Review
I just love Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Asia Glatt Shampoo!! It does wonders to my hair.
Gliss Kur Asia Glatt Shampoo

My hair type is straight, thin and it tends to get oily if i don't wash it everyday. So if 'dared' to skip one day washing my hair, FIRST, there will be the continuous uneasy feeling of oils filling up on the top of my head, SECOND, i'll tend to play around with my hair (scratching the scalp, twisting my hair, etc.) leading to hair fall...Oh no no no... then THIRD, there might be someone say.. "Hey, did you just wash your hair?".. then i'll say "uhm..yeah.."(walk away...)(>.<). Some people might just mistaken oiliness on the hair looks like wet hair at first glance. It was so embarrassing.. haha... That was last time before i know the secret or at least great tips to manage thin and oily hair(click here to find out more).
Now it is better, if i skip a day (and not two) my hair still looks OK but i'll still feel the FIRST symptom. But at least no more THIRD symptom :) Apart from the tips from the link above, i'll like to give a review of Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Asia Glatt Shampoo. Purple in color, it has a nice fruity smell and it makes my hair looks shinier and less frizzy. It is not that my hair is very frizzy, as i mentioned, my hair is straight type, but after using this shampoo, my hair seems to look fuller and sleeker. The thing that i like most about it is it adds life to my hair. No more limpy, dull and oily hair. So i'll give it a five star for it and recommands it for people who have similar hair type as mine.

Braun Silk Epilator for Hair Removal Review
I've bought this product about a month ago and I must say, I'm actually very happy with it. For those who still don't know what does an epilator do, well, it removes unwanted hair and keep it away for longer duration than shaving does ;)
Why epilating better than shaving?
Epilating removes unwanted hair from the root while shaving just remove the hair from the top of skin surface. Naturally, epilating will keep the skin hair free longer compared to shaving. Also, shaving might cause razor bumps. Some even claimed that if you remove the unwanted hair using tweezers or epilator often and for longer durations, the hair will even stop growing. I'm keeping my finger cross on this one :p
Does using epilator hurts?
I would be lying if i say it does not hurt at all. It does, but it is bearable. If you can endure the pain that caused by removing hair using tweezers, then it should be a piece of cake for you. If that is too much for you, then maybe you should think twice, haha.
Braun Silk Epilator product features:
- Silky smooth skin from top to toe for up to 4 weeks
- 4-way moving pain softener makes epilation extra gentle
- Small tips integrated into epilation head lift the hairs so that even short hairs flat lying hairs can be removed efficiently at the root
- Two active massage rollers stimulate the skin before and after the hair is removed to minimise the pulling sensation

How to Remove Acrylic Nail with Acetone
Things you'll need to prepare to remove acrylic nail:

(Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
)
Petroleum jelly (e.g. vaseline
)
Glass bowl
Cuticle Oil
Hand cream / moisturizer (optional)
Steps to remove acrylic nail safely:
- Prepare all the things mentioned above. Place a thick layer of newspaper on the table to protect if from damage from acetone nail polish remover if it spills.
- Cut your acrylic nails as short as possible to ease the removal process.
- Pour the acetone nail polish remover in a glass bowl just enough to cover your finger tips when you dip your finger in it.
- As acetone can cause skin to dry up, therefore, coat the skin part of your finger tips (avoiding the nails) with petroleum jelly to protect it. You need to avoid coating your nails with vaseline as this will block the acetone from loosening the glue that holds the acrylic nails.
- Once done, dip your nails into the bowl and soak it for about 30 minutes till you are enable to peel off the acrylic nails easily. If there is any resistance in peeling it off, DO NOT force it. Just dip your nails again for another 5-10 minutes. Otherwise, you can damage your natural nails which is connected to it.
- After removing the acrylic nails, there might be some acrylic residue. Just use nail buffer to remove it gently.
- Once you manage to get all of the acrylic nails off, wash your hand with soapy water and use hand cream or cuticle oil to your finger tips. Also, gently massage cuticle oil on each nails to finish.

Simple Steps to Correct Poor Posture
Did someone (probably your mom) ever pat you on your back and said "Stand up straight. Don't hunch."? Well, thank them. It is really for your own good. But for somehow, if you are like me, my body normal relax position is actually bad body posture. Yes, I like to hunch and do feel like I look like a cave-man walking... yikes..

In order to correct my poor posture, I did a lot of posture exercises and practice yoga. Yoga is really beneficial to correct your posture. Below is what my yoga instructor will always instruct us to do to stand with correct posture.
1. Stand up tall
2. Bring up your navel upwards
3. Now some might probably curve the backbone outward too much. So pull your tailbone downwards or inward.
4. Roll your shoulder from front to up to back and open your chest.
5. Ensure that your neck and head are held high and look forward. Also, ensure that your shoulder is not tight a bring it down away from the ears.
